Responsibilities
- Participate in new product introduction activities and coordinate with Production Department regarding manufacturing methods.
- Oversee prototyping, testing, validation, and verification.
- Coordinates change management tasks with involved Departments.
- Details new drawings or modifies existing production drawings.
- Calculates material requirements for various products.
- Coordinates with purchasing for special materials and components.
- Reproduces prints and complies print packages for individual orders.
Qualifications
- Engineering bachelor degree required and a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience within manufacturing. Sheet metal fabrication experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills English Language, able to work independently.
- Self-motivated individual and must be able to effectively balance a large workload.
- Excellent follow-up skills with the ability to follow-through to completion.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and to multi-task on multiple projects.
- Able to read blueprints, understand engineering documents and work closely with members of the engineering, operations and purchasing team.
- Efficient with Microsoft desktop applications and experience in computer-aided drafting and design with Solid works. Understanding of design for all manufacture principals.
