Responsibilities

Create precise technical drawings and 3D BIM models using Revit BIM and Navisworks.

Develop, update, and maintain BIM models using Revit throughout the project lifecycle.

Use Navisworks for model coordination, clash detection, and design review.

Convert hand sketches, verbal instructions, and design concepts into accurate Revit BIM models and technical drawings.

Prepare layouts, detailed drawings, shop drawings, and construction documentation using Revit BIM.

Revise BIM models and drawings according to design changes or requirements from the engineering and project teams.

Coordinate BIM models across different disciplines and identify potential design conflicts using Navisworks.

Ensure all BIM models and drawings comply with project specifications, required standards, and codes.

Review BIM models and designs for accuracy, completeness, and coordination.

Assist in preparing project documentation and reports related to designs and materials.

Conduct site visits as needed to gather information and verify design accuracy.

Assist in developing and improving BIM standards, workflows, and procedures.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other teams to ensure timely completion of BIM deliverables.

Stay updated with the latest developments in Revit BIM, Navisworks, BIM technology, and 3D modelling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.

• Min. 3+ years of experience as a CAD Draughtsman or in a similar drafting role.

• Proficiency in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit BIM.

• Solid technical drawing skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good understanding of engineering design, construction, and architectural drafting principles.

• Ability to interpret and work with complex technical drawings and specifications.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with different teams.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and engineering principles.

• Familiarity with 3D modelling and rendering techniques and visualization tools.

• Ability to manage several projects and coordinate with multiple teams simultaneously.
