Supplier Development Engineer (Casting) - Bernina (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

Job scope:   

• Supplier Development Engineer is responding to the activities within the Casting category.

Key Responsibility:                                                                                                                                                

• Monitor and develop production-process capability at supplier side and develop during PEP and KEP
• Analysis of existing quality KPIs over the product life cycle and define corrective actions together with supplier
• Oversees the NCR status of the assigned suppliers and ensures with his team a timely solution to avoid a negative impact on the production 
• Execute feasibility studies for components and assemblies in close cooperation with R+D
• Coordinate measurement- and quality-alignment between QA and supplier and execute it on supplier side (test concepts, test plans, test methods and test equipment)
• Assist category management in the development of the quality strategy
• Any assigned task upon superior
