Responsibilities
1. Overseeing the hot roll annealing and pickling process [HAP] ,Batch annealing process [BAF]
2. Bright Annealing Process (BAL) and Skin Pass Mill (SPM) in term of production process engineering and metallurgical concerns.
3. Sustains the production to operate in smoothly by supervising on the metallurgical matters aiming for production right and good quality products.
4. Also coordinates with all concern parties for the quality improvement and product development project.
5. (Issue process test and design process parameters for the quality improvement, product development and cost saving)
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial engineer, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields
2. 0-3 years’ experience in production or steel industry is preferable
3. Be Able to work on tools with production team
4. Be Able to work in Rayong province
5. Good command in English Language
6. Strong in negotiation with excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving skills and service mind
Working location: POSCO-Thainox Public Co.,Ltd.
Rayong Plant: 324 Moo 8, Highway No. 3191Rd. Mabkha, Nikhompattana, Rayong
Working hours: Monday – Friday (08.00 – 17.00)

What you will do
Job Summary
In this Quality Improvement Engineer role, you will oversee hot roll annealing and pickling (HAP), batch annealing (BAF), bright annealing (BAL), and skin pass mill (SPM) processes, focusing on production process engineering and metallurgical concerns. You will contribute to maintaining smooth production operations by supervising metallurgical matters to ensure products meet quality standards. Additionally, you will coordinate with various parties on quality improvement and product development projects. This includes issuing process tests and designing process parameters to enhance quality, develop new products, and achieve cost savings.
