Responsibilities
1. To approve and answer specification, and requirement of customer and check modify and validation of quality designed including special and out of standard product.
2. To study a new product and application with Marketing, Production and QTD department to improving POSCO-Thainox product quality and product range according to the requirement of customer and plant.
3. To pay visits to customers, at request or own initiative, to provide technical consultation to customer and promptly to services directly to customer and ensure promotion of POSCO-Thainox’s products and service.
4. To plan, organize and conduct training sessions on product knowledge and other technical training.
5. To acknowledge every claims and every voice from customers directly. Investigate and handle the claims.
6. Technical assistance both technical issue and claim to customer
7. To manage the claims meetings, initiate corrective & preventive proposal to QA., follow-up and issue reports.
8. To organize the customer visits our plant in term of technical.
9. To issue, modify, and maintain Internal Production program.
10. Adjust & improve the quality level of the customer need and POSCO-Thainox products with any information from customer.
11. To perform others job assignment of direct supervisor.
12. Ensure that works related to Occupational Health Safety and Environment is compliance with the laws, regulations, and procedures, appropriate training and has sufficient competence for working.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor degree in Metallurgy, Material science or related field.
2. Knowledge in steel industry and products Good command of English
3. Experience working in a steel plant is a plus
4. Able to work at Bangkok office (Emporium)
5. Able to travel independently for work
6. Chinese language will be advantage
Working location: POSCO-Thainox Public Co.,Ltd. (Head office)
15/6-8 Floor, 622 Emporium Tower Sukhumvit 24, Klongtan, Klongtoey, Bangkok 10110.
Working hours: Monday – Friday (08.00 – 17.00)
