Responsibilities

Primary Purpose and Function

As a Sales Manager, you will directly supervise, coach, and develop a high-performing Pharmaceutical Sales (Product Specialist) team. You’ll ensure each representative delivers targeted, impactful customer engagement that maximises sales and market share, while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Coaching & Field Leadership

  • Routinely conduct field visits and hands-on coaching with PS team.

  • Elevate field effectiveness and identify behavioural performance gaps.

Strategic Planning & Reporting

  • Prepare timely and actionable reports covering sales performance, promotions, competitor insights, and talent development.

  • Provide strategic input for market planning and future initiatives.

Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Source, assess, and recommend top talent for PS positions.

  • Minimize vacancy lead times to maintain business continuity.

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related).

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Sales Representative in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Proven track record in team leadership or people management and development preferred.

  • Experience in specialty hospital or high-science original pharmaceutical products is preferred.

  • Direct exposure to Infectious Diseases, including HIV, antiretroviral therapy (ART), or antifungal portfolios, will be considered a strong advantage.
