Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance to service engineers, technicians, installers, and customers.
Troubleshoot operational issues and conduct root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures.
Coordinate with manufacturers regarding technical issues, warranty claims, and product improvements.
Review and update technical documentation, service manuals, and wiring diagrams.
Develop and deliver technical training modules, presentations, and practical assessments for internal teams (Service, Installation, Sales, Projects) and external clients.
Evaluate trainee competency through assessments and maintain training records and competency matrices.
Conduct product orientation for newly hired employees and coordinate training schedules with suppliers/manufacturers
Perform site inspections before equipment delivery and installation.
Inspect installation quality and ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations (proper tool usage, PPE).
Prepare site inspection reports, recommend corrective actions, and participate in project handover inspections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering disciplines.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment, food service equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, or related industries.
- Knowledge and proficiency in troubleshooting of electrical, refrigeration, gas, and mechanical systems.
- Experience in creating training modules or conducting interactive workshops is a plus.
- Strong presentation and training delivery skills.
- Able to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Familiar with product-specific systems (kitchen equipment).
- Confidence in public speaking and training facilitation.
- Able to travel domestically or internationally for training and support.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
