Quality Coordinator (IPQC) - Mattel Bangkok Limited

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control & Quality Assurance

• Support and coordinate In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and quality performance to ensure product conformity.
• Assist in investigating quality issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Review, update, and maintain quality inspection standards, specifications, and work instructions.
• Prepare material inspection specifications and quality-related training materials.
• Collect, analyze, and report quality data and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Apply basic statistical techniques and quality tools to support quality improvement activities.

Quality Management System (QMS)

• Maintain and control quality documents, records, and reports in accordance with ISO requirements and company procedures.
• Support internal and external audit activities and ensure timely follow-up on audit findings.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality management standards.
• Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of quality control procedures and compliance systems.
• Supplier & Subcontractor Quality Management
• Support supplier and subcontractor qualification, certification, and monitoring activities.
• Coordinate supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with global quality requirements.
• Follow up on supplier corrective actions and quality performance improvements.
• Maintain supplier quality records and audit documentation.

Training & Development

• Assist the QC Supervisor and QC Engineer in preparing and coordinating quality-related training programs.
• Support On-the-Job Training (OJT) activities for new employees.
• Participate in training programs related to quality systems, manufacturing principles, and quality improvement methodologies.
• Project Support & Coordination
• Support development projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the IPQC function.
• Coordinate quality-related activities with internal departments, suppliers, subcontractors, and external parties.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Internal/External Audits, Supplier Quality, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship or project experience are welcome to apply.
• Experience in manufacturing operations is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and auditing principles.
• Knowledge of quality control techniques, inspection methods, and quality tools.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and quality improvement methodologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and report preparation skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to read and write English for workplace communication.
