Quality Engineer (1 Year Contract) - Mattel Bangkok Limited

The Quality Engineer is responsible for managing incoming material quality, supplier quality performance, and inspection systems to ensure all materials comply with company standards and customer requirements. This role also supports new product introductions, supplier development, problem solving, and continuous quality improvement.

• Ensure incoming raw materials, components, packaging materials, and outsourced parts meet quality requirements.
• Establish and maintain incoming inspection standards, work instructions, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze incoming quality performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Investigate material quality issues and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with suppliers.
• Work closely with Suppliers, Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
• Review and disposition non-conforming materials.
• Monitor supplier quality performance through data analysis and quality KPIs.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by evaluating supplier readiness and incoming materials.
• Participate in supplier qualification, supplier audits, and supplier development activities.
• Prepare quality reports, analyze quality trends, and recommend improvement actions.
• Lead or support quality improvement projects within the Incoming Quality Control (IQC) function.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, company quality systems, and customer requirements.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related Science fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Incoming Quality, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, or related fields within a manufacturing environment.
• Fresh graduates with strong internship or project experience are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of Quality Tools (7 QC Tools, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, 8D) is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of ISO 9001 or Quality Management Systems.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Good command of written and spoken English. (Interview in English)
