Responsibilities
- Production Planning: Translate Master Production Schedules (MPS) into detailed material requirements, ensuring materials are ready for production.
- Procurement: Determine material needs, place purchase orders and manage performance.
- Coordination & Communication: Liaise with Sales, Manufacturing, Warehousing, and QA to align material plans with overall goals and timelines.
- System & Data Integrity: Ensure the MRP/ERP system data (like Bills of Materials - BOMs) is accurate and up-to-date, and resolve system issues.
- Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels, prevent shortages or excess and manage obsolete stock (SLOB)
- Demand Forecasting: Analyze production volumes and customer demand patterns to predict future material needs.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and develop the material planning team, providing guidance and leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Management, Computer, Science, Statistic or related fields
- At Least 5-10 Years
- Strong technical skills in ERP/MR software (Oracle) and data analysis, plus expertise in supply chain, inventory, and production planning, backed by analytical, problem-solving. and communication abilities.
