Job Description

1. Workplace Safety & Risk Management

• Identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement preventive measures.

• Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations (OSHA, ISO 45001, etc.).

• Investigate workplace accidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.

• Develop and update safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.

2. Safety Training & Awareness

• Conduct safety training programs for employees on fire safety, first aid, PPE usage, and emergency preparedness.

• Organize drills and simulations to prepare employees for emergency situations.

• Promote a culture of safety awareness among workers at all levels.

3. Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.

• Prepare and submit safety reports to government authorities and internal stakeholders.

• Ensure proper use, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.

4. Workplace Inspections & Audits

• Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with regulations.

• Identify potential risks in machinery, equipment, and work areas.

• Coordinate with external safety auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections.

5. Accident & Incident Investigation

• Investigate workplace accidents, injuries, or near-misses to determine root causes.

• Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Work with HR and management to address safety concerns and reduce workplace hazards.

6. Coordination with Management & Authorities

• Work closely with operations, maintenance, and HR teams to integrate safety measures.

• Communicate with government agencies and regulatory bodies regarding safety compliance.

• Provide recommendations to management on improving workplace safety policies.

7. Environmental Health & Sustainability (if applicable)

• Ensure compliance with environmental safety laws and waste management policies.

• Support sustainability initiatives related to energy conservation and pollution control.

• Monitor air quality, noise levels, and hazardous waste disposal.
