Lean Manager - Gallothai Co., Ltd.

Job Description:

•    Take ownership of and lead the site's active Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs), currently covering chocolate production, pastry production, maintenance, and warehouse operations, in alignment with their respective master plans, driving the completion and closure of ongoing actions in close collaboration with all relevant departments.

•    Lead the recurring Gemba Walk cadence, rotating leadership across area owners, generating reports, and tracking issues to closure.

•    Maintain and drive shop-floor use of the DPM (Daily Performance Management) Dashboard across chocolate and pastry areas.

•    Keep core Lean Management routines running continuously: Lean Basics training, 5S, Gemba, and area-specific Lean projects (Chocolate, Pastry, Maintenance, Warehouse).

•    Own Cost Saving tracking and equipment/process Qualification documentation.

•    Prepare Process Flow / Routing documentation ahead of any new project or process change, validated with the technical team and relevant department before release.

•    Maintain the OEE (Availability × Performance × Quality) and Productivity tracking system.

•    Progress the team's capability roadmap ("Step 2") toward systematic root-cause analysis: 8 Wastes, 6 Big Losses, Downtime/Bottleneck analysis, PDCA, 5 Why, 6M/Fishbone, TAMU acceptance standards, Cycle Time/Spaghetti Diagrams, Autonomous & Preventive Maintenance (AM/PM), and CAPA.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, or Operations Management.
• 3+ years of experience in a Lean Manager, Technical Lead, or process improvement role — ideally within food, confectionery, or pastry manufacturing.

• Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) credentials are strongly preferred.

SKILLS:

• Practical, hands-on experience with core Lean tools: 5S, Gemba Walks, Value Stream/Process Flow Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, and Work Instruction development.
• Working understanding of OEE (Availability, Performance, Quality) and how to use it as a shared performance language across a production line.
• Experience running structured problem-solving (PDCA, 5 Why, Fishbone/6M) with cross-functional shop-floor teams.
• Comfortable owning and maintaining data tracking systems (KPI dashboards, DPM boards, action tracking sheets) rather than one-off improvement events.
• Experience preparing and validating Process Flow / Routing documentation for new products or process changes, including sign-off with technical.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Thai communication skills; able to produce clear reports and standards that are usable directly on the shop floor.
• A results-driven mindset with genuine ownership of Cost Saving.
