Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop plastic packaging products based on customer requirements and production feasibility.
- Create 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as SolidWorks.
- Prepare technical drawings and product specifications for mold fabrication and production.
- Coordinate closely with mold, production, and sales teams to ensure designs meet technical and commercial requirements.
- Revise and update designs based on feedback from clients and trial runs.
- Present design concepts and provide regular updates to management, including international stakeholders.
- Support engineering and NPD teams in product development initiatives.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- 2–5 years of experience in product design, preferably in plastic packaging or mold design.
- Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, etc.).
- Understanding of plastic manufacturing processes such as injection molding, blow molding, or thermoforming.
- Good command of English (spoken, written, and presentation skills) — required.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
