Responsibilities
We are looking for a Problem Solver and Engineering Operator with a strong commitment to system reliability, energy efficiency, and proactive maintenance.
- Engineering Operations Monitoring: Oversee and ensure optimal performance of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and utility systems within assigned properties. Monitor and maintain tenant air conditioning operations, ensuring consistent service quality and minimal disruption. Respond swiftly to equipment malfunction alerts, escalating critical issues for immediate resolution.
- Documentation, Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and submit daily operation logs, incident reports, and weekly/monthly summaries for supervisors and Property Management. Lead the preparation of the Annual Energy Management Report for submission to the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE). Ensure operational records meet regulatory and internal compliance standards.
- Cost Control & Budget Monitoring: Prepare annual OPEX budgets related to engineering operations and monitor real-time expenditures against approved limits. Recommend cost-saving measures and identify efficient opportunities to optimize budget performance.
- Risk Management & Safety Assurance: Identify and monitor operational risks related to engineering systems, ensuring compliance with legal, environmental, and safety regulations. Implement preventative maintenance protocols and enforce risk mitigation measures.
- Innovation & Energy Efficiency Initiatives: Support the rollout of sustainability-focused projects aimed at reducing energy consumption and environmental impact. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize infrastructure and implement system upgrades for improved efficiency
Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, preferably in office, retail, or wholesale property environments.
- Technical Skills & System Knowledge Solid understanding of HVAC, MEP, and building automation systems (BAS/BMS), with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
- Budgeting & Cost Awareness Experience in preparing and monitoring OPEX budgets and identifying opportunities for operational cost reductions.
- Reporting & Compliance Proficiency in documenting operational data, preparing official energy reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., DEDE requirements).
- Safety & Risk Management Strong awareness of engineering risks and implementation of safe operating practices in accordance with local laws and company policies.
- Growth Mindset: Can-do attitude with a passion for leveraging new initiative and implementation for engineering management at the property.
