Transport Solution Design Manager - DSV Contract Logistics Ltd.

General Description:
Transport Solution Design Manager is responsible to supporting new business opportunities and create logistic solution including transport design and supply chain design for potential or existing customer.

Specific Accountabilities:

Solution Design Part

• Support analysing customer's business requirement. Provide technical design including data gathering & analysis, process design & commercial.
• Create solution proposal & comprehensive presentation to external customer and internal Management. 
• Modelling to convert business metrics into transport solutions, including but not limited to network design, channel selection, routing and scheduling, cross dock layout/sizing and productivity/labour planning. 
• Trucking cost analysis (including fuel usage, maintenance costs, etc.). 
• Ensure smooth handover of successful proposal to Operation and Implementation team. 
• Develop and maintain a Cost Model for computing trucking and distribution costs. 
• Participate in joint calls and customer visits to gather information and to present and represent
• DSV’s distribution capabilities and know-how. 
• Contact to Truck vendor to get some cost for doing solution
• Other tasks as may be assigned by Head of Business Unit.

Skill required:

·       ·     Deep   and   wide   knowledge   of   logistics   operations, customer   solutions   and modelling/costing techniques

• ·     Strong business acumen and result-focus and strong presentation skills 
• ·     Ability to work in a dynamic environment, multi-tasking, and making appropriate assumptions with uncertain/insufficient information
• ·     Highly responsible, initiative, proactive, and able to coordinate and motivate people and to work as a team under pressure
• ·     Strong logical reasoning and meticulousness is a must
• ·     Trucking Operations Management Skills

·     Ability to analyse large amounts of data using Excel or Access or similar

·     Minimum 3 -5 years' experience in Logistic & Supply Chain, especially in analysis

·     Good command in English, Ability to present in Thai and English

·     Experience with Transport Management Systems Experience with ERP.
