Responsibilities

The Process Improvement Manager is responsible for leading and driving continuous improvement initiatives across CROWN Food Packaging (Thailand) PLC's manufacturing operations. This role applies lean manufacturing, WCM (World Class Manufacturing), and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodologies to identify, analyze, and eliminate waste, reduce operational costs, and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and productivity. The incumbent works cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain and related departments to achieve operational excellence in our the organization.

• Design, implement, and sustain lean manufacturing and WCM/TPM programs across all plant operations.
• Conduct team to identify improvement opportunities throughout the production lifecycle.
• Lead kaizen events, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including OEE, cycle time, defect rates, and throughput to track improvement progress.
• Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple improvement projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Apply Six Sigma (DMAIC) tools and statistical analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
• Partner with department heads and plant management to align improvement priorities with business objectives. 
• Drive change management initiatives and facilitate buy-in from operations teams at all levels.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret production and operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Track project milestones, conduct post-implementation reviews, and ensure sustainability of progress and achievements
• Prepare and present performance dashboards and management reports to senior leadership.
• Provide coaching, training, and capability building on lean tools, RCA techniques, and problem-solving methodologies to related parties
• Integrate quality management requirements (e.g., ISO, FSSC 22000,…) into improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all process improvement activities comply with occupational safety regulations and CROWN's internal standards.
• Support environmental and sustainability goals in alignment with corporate ESG commitments.
• Support environmental and sustainability global projects in alignment with corporate commitments.



Qualifications

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related
• Solid understanding of WCM (World Class Manufacturing) and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
• Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a dedicated process improvement, industrial engineering, or operational excellence role.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering measurable cost savings and productivity improvements in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in food & beverage packaging, metal can, or FMCG manufacturing is advantageous.
• Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, Power BI, or equivalent).
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills
