Import Export Manager - Material World Co.,Ltd.

• Plan, manage, and oversee all import and export operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Manage international transportation by sea, air, and land, while coordinating with freight forwarders, shipping agents, carriers, and logistics service providers.
• Review and control import/export documentation, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading (B/L), Air Waybill (AWB), Certificate of Origin (C/O), Letter of Credit (L/C), and other related documents.
• Oversee customs clearance processes and coordinate with customs authorities and relevant government agencies.
• Plan and manage transportation costs, duties, taxes, and other logistics expenses while identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and optimize costs.
• Monitor and stay up to date with international trade regulations, customs laws, and trade agreements, providing guidance to internal stakeholders when necessary.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, and overseas suppliers to ensure smooth and timely product delivery.
• Identify operational risks within import and export activities and implement preventive and corrective actions.
• Prepare and analyze import/export reports and operational performance for management review.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Import & Export team to enhance operational effectiveness and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 7-10 years of experience in Import & Export, International Logistics, or Supply Chain Management, with proven experience in leading a team.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, Incoterms, HS Code, customs clearance, and international trade documentation.
• Solid understanding of international logistics, transportation management, and supply chain operations.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze operational costs and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Broad knowledge of international trade practices and the ability to keep up with changing regulations and market trends.
• Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English (B2 level).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in importing and exporting industrial products, machinery, packaging materials, or material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of BOI privileges, Free Trade Agreements (FTA), customs privileges, and international trade regulations.
• Experience in managing freight forwarders and negotiating international freight rates.
