Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end overseas procurement process to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality purchasing.
- Source, evaluate, and develop relationships with overseas suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial agreements with suppliers.
- Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and monitor order status until successful delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping agents, customs brokers, and internal departments.
- Review and verify import documents, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, and other related documents.
- Monitor import shipments and resolve issues to ensure on-time delivery.
- Analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Verify product specifications and inspect incoming goods to ensure compliance with company standards, coordinating with the warehouse and relevant departments when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in overseas procurement, international sourcing, or import operations.
- Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and international trade documentation.
- Proven experience in supplier sourcing, supplier relationship management, and commercial negotiation.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/SAP systems.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
