Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Lead initiatives to review, improve, and change existing accounting processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and automation tools that support business growth and compliance.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports and performance metrics for management.
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring all documentation and reports are accurate and complete.
- Train and mentor accounting staff, promoting a culture of learning, continuous improvement, and adaptability to change.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring compliance and recommending necessary process updates.
Qualifications
- Thai nationality, Male, Female, 35-45 years old
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
- At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience with 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and ERP systems.
- Proven experience leading process changes or improvement projects in an accounting or finance function.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage change across teams.
