Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
1. Customer Service
* Serve as the primary point of contact for Chinese corporate clients, providing guidance on account opening requirements, procedures, conditions, and supporting documentation.
* Review and verify the completeness and accuracy of client documentation and follow up on any outstanding requirements.
* Coordinate appointments and oversee the end-to-end corporate account opening process to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
* Process requests related to amendments, updates, and maintenance of corporate customer information, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date.
* Provide consultation, assistance, issue resolution, and coordination with relevant stakeholders to deliver service excellence and enhance customer satisfaction.
2. Operations
* Execute and verify transactions related to account opening and customer servicing within assigned authorities and responsibilities.
* Schedule appointments, prepare and update customer information, and review account opening and business-related documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with bank standards.
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operational processes.
* Perform duties in compliance with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, bank policies, and operating procedures.
* Prepare, maintain, and securely retain reports, records, and documentation related to assigned responsibilities, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
3. Sales and Business Development
* Introduce and recommend suitable banking products and services to Chinese corporate clients, including conducting cross-selling conversations for products such as Foreign Exchange (FX), Hedging Solutions, Global Markets Solutions, and Workforce Solutions.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships while identifying and referring business opportunities to relevant business units to support the bank's growth objectives.
Qualifications
Qualification Requirements :
Education / Experience
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Finance, Banking, Management, or a related field.
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in customer service, business relationship management, and financial product advisory within the banking or financial services industry.
* Experience in communicating, servicing, and managing relationships with Chinese customers.
Knowledge and Skills (Literacy / Technical Skills / Soft Skills)
* Proficient in Mandarin Chinese, with strong listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills (HSK Level 4 or above, or equivalent).
* Good command of English, both written and spoken.
* Strong customer service, relationship management, and financial product presentation skills.
* Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities to facilitate customer needs and deliver a positive customer experience.
* Knowledge of banking products and services, including individual and corporate account opening processes, as well as relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements. Professional licenses or certifications will be an advantage.
* Proficient in computer applications, Microsoft Office programs, and relevant operational systems.
* Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance standards, with the ability to perform duties in accordance with regulatory requirements.
* Able and willing to travel and perform duties outside the office when required.
