Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning and overseeing team operations, including defining construction methodologies, developing detailed construction schedules, and coordinating equipment utilization during the bidding phase. Monitors the progress of construction activities, provides professional guidance and consultation, and actively participates in projects facing delays. Supervises team performance by offering expert advice, conducting training, and implementing problem-solving measures to ensure all tasks are executed in accordance with established project schedules.
1. Pre-Design and During Design Phase (For DAC Projects)
- Establish preliminary construction schedule.
- Define construction methodology (Method Statement).
- Determine equipment requirements and associated costs for construction activities.
2. During Bidding Phase
- Review and verify the feasibility of construction timelines specified in the TOR.
- Define construction methodology (Method Statement).
- Identify Full Scope of works and its construction methodology
- Prepare detailed L3 construction plan in accordance to DCMA 14 Point Assessment
- Determine equipment requirements and associated costs for construction activities.
- Participate in clarifying queries from subcontractors.
- Assist in evaluating and negotiating subcontractor proposals and provide recommendations.
- Participate in determining project costs and selling price prior to submission to supervisors and management.
- Share responsibility for submitting bid proposals from the Estimation Department.
- Define and present construction and project management methods.
- Serve as the company’s representative to coordinate with partners for bidding purposes.
3. During Construction Phase
- Establish project measurement procedure in accordance with client specification
- Prepare a detailed construction schedule starting from Mobilization until Commissioning and Handover.
- Prepare a detailed schedule into Level 4 and Level 5 using DCMA-14 Point Assessment
- Able to Resource load a Level 4 Schedule (Material Quantities and Manpower)
- Relay all construction plans and methodology to the Project Manager as reference for project execution.
- Prepare projections for all of project duration.
- Monitor work progress and report observations to senior management.
- Provide guidance and consultation to accelerate delayed projects and ensure alignment with the project schedule.
- Update construction schedule using Primavera P6 to identify Actuals, Forecast with mitigation and report.
- Must identify Critical Float Path using Primavera P6 and relay to construction team and client
- Actual Construction Progress Update (Labor, Material, Equipment, Staff & Indirect Costs)
- Established Periodic Reports (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarter or asper needed by consultant/client)
- Project Analysis (Earned Value, Risk Analysis, Mitigation Plans) Periodic Progress Presentation with Client/Consultant and all construction team
- Review of Additional Works (Variation Works) and to make sure that these works will be added in the constructions schedule for strict monitoring
- Close monitoring of interface works that may impact contract schedule
4. Post-Project Handover
- Prepare As-built Construction Schedule from P6 Schedule together with necessary Tracking Sheets and Monitoring (Resources)
- Making sure that project defects are well monitored and completed in a timely manner
- Coordinating with own Construction Team and Consultant for the timely completion and acceptance of all project defects (Punch List Items)
- Coordinating with consultant/client for any additional work that may arise from Final Walkdowns
- Coordinating with Engineering Team for the completion of Handover documents
- Monitoring and Coordinating the progress of Temporary Site Facilities Demobilization
- Finalizing Lessons Learned document for future project reference

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Project Engineer across at least two projects, with no less than 10 years of experience in project planning.
- Demonstrated expertise in construction planning aligned with the company’s scope of operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and project planning, with the ability to provide professional consultation within the organization.
- Must be knowledgeable with construction sequence for all civil, Structural and architectural work.
- Must be knowledgeable with construction sequence with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Firefighting Work
- Must be able to determine the sequence with a combined CSA and MEP work
- Proficient in interpreting and understanding project contracts and specifications in both Thai and English.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 software and Microsoft Excel
- Proficient in use of Navisworks application
- Excellent command of written, reading, and spoken English.
- Able to lead meetings and presentation with internal team and client
*Extensive professional experience in large-scale, international construction projects, including petrochemical plant construction and data center development.
