Responsibilities

Liaise with the customer to monitor satisfaction with product cleanliness and ESD control, and provide improvements/changes as required.

Monitor internal contamination and ESD, and work with the team to develop continuous improvement.

Monitor and control final product cleanliness levels, and work with the team to develop continuous improvement.

Conduct yearly certification for contamination and ESD awareness for all BIT employees.

Analyze customer contamination/ESD requirements and periodically conduct improvement action status reviews with all concerned departments/sections.

Ensure regular reports are sent to the customer on time.

Support the organization's goal of achieving Total Customer Satisfaction.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering

Experience: 3-5 years in an engineering function or related, and in hard drive manufacturing

Highlighted skills/knowledge:

Strong leadership, management, and engineering statistics skills
Knowledge of statistical and quality control systems
Good English communication in listening, speaking, and writing

Job Summary

The Contamination Control Engineer ensures that product cleanliness and ESD control meet customer requirements. You will liaise with customers, monitor internal contamination and ESD performance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams. You will also analyze customer requirements, conduct regular improvement reviews, deliver timely customer reports, and run annual contamination and ESD awareness certification for all employees, supporting the goal of Total Customer Satisfaction.
