Responsibilities
- Apply technical knowledge and industry expertise to review and identify improvement opportunities in existing manufacturing processes.
- Study new technologies and materials for application to new and existing products.
- Study and develop traceability systems to support manufacturing process improvement.
- Develop material knowledge, including material properties, and perform potential root cause analysis to improve material understanding.
- Evaluate upstream process concepts to improve machine capability and development.
- Provide technical support and share technical knowledge with related teams.
- Lead yield improvement and scrap reduction projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering or a related field.
- Experience in HDD, semiconductor, or electronics industries is an advantage.
- Experience in dispenser technology to improve bonding line and epoxy consistency.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with the engineering team and drive improvement projects through to implementation.
