HSE Engineer

Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits; issue observations and propose corrective actions.
Support implementation of the Site Safety Plan and ensure contractors follow approved HSE procedures.
Participate in incident response; ensure proper reporting, registration, and initial investigation of near misses and accidents.
Lead toolbox talks and promote safety awareness among site workers and subcontractors.
Assist in the preparation of monthly HSE reports and submit to Safety Manager for review.
Coordinate with subcontractors to review and verify safety documentation prior to site works.
Immediately inform Safety/Construction/Project Manager in case of critical risk or breach of safety compliance.
Recommend site closure or suspension of activities in case of serious safety breaches.
Propose rejection of unsafe work methods or non-compliant subcontractors.
Recommend entry restrictions to personnel violating site safety protocols.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in site safety for construction or industrial projects
Ability to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement control measures on-site
Strong communication skills for delivering safety briefings and interfacing with site teams
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word); experience with Team Binder or similar tools is a plus
Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines reliably
Good command of spoken and written English.
