The Site Architect is responsible for managing and controlling architectural works on site, ensuring construction is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards. This role involves technical coordination, shop drawing review, contractor coordination, and regular site inspections.
- Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and construction details.
- Review, comment on, and coordinate shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements.
- Coordinate and discuss technical and site-related matters with contractors and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure architectural works comply with approved drawings, quality standards, and project requirements.
- Identify design or site issues and propose practical solutions in coordination with consultants and contractors.
- Monitor progress and quality of architectural works and report to the line manager.
- Verify work execution and ensure compliance with safety and site regulations.
- Review and comment on As-Built Drawings and relevant architectural documentation.
- Support the project team to achieve high-quality architectural deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in construction site environments.
- Strong knowledge of architectural detailing and site coordination.
- Experience reviewing shop drawings and coordinating with contractors.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- English communication skills are an advantage.
