Job Summary:
The Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting and selling technical products or services to clients. This role combines technical knowledge with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products, often working closely with engineering, procurement, and commercial and operations teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and company growth.
• Understand customer technical requirements and propose appropriate solutions/products.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and quotations to clients.
• Conduct site visits and liaise with engineering teams to ensure correct product specifications and applications.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions in coordination with the sales and legal team.
• Provide after-sales support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams including product, engineering, and service departments to ensure project success.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity and report insights to the management team.
