1.Strategic Digital Transformation Leadership & Management: -Translate Digital Transformation strategy into actionable roadmaps; drive team execution to meet KPIs. -Manage and develop sub-teams (Enablement & Capability/Adoption), fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and innovation. -Report progress, challenges, and outcomes of Digital Transformation initiatives to senior management.
2.Digital Transformation Enablement Oversight: -Direct the Enablement team in researching, evaluating, and promoting suitable digital, AI, and Data Science technologies. -Provide expert consultation on critical technical issues (IT Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, Security, Data Architecture, AI/ML Infrastructure, System Integration) ensuring robust, secure, and scalable solutions. -Champion a data-driven culture and the application of Data Science for decision-making. -Drive PoCs and prototyping for new digital, AI, and Data Science projects to validate feasibility and business impact. -Collaborate with IT Operations, Cybersecurity, Data/Solution teams for seamless technology implementation.
3.Digital Capability & Adoption Oversight: -Guide the Capability & Adoption team in developing strategies for Digital, AI & Data Science literacy, upskilling, and enterprise-wide technology adoption. -Approve plans and budgets for training, workshops, engagement activities, and learning materials. -Foster a change-adaptive organizational culture, encouraging the adoption of new technologies. -Evaluate and refine personnel development and technology adoption programs for maximum impact.
4.Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: -Build and maintain strong relationships with internal (Business Units, IT, HR, Finance) and external stakeholders (vendors, academic institutions). -Represent the department, presenting Digital Transformation initiatives and progress to management. -Understand business needs to provide targeted and value-driven Digital Transformation support.
5.Budget & Resource Management: -Manage Digital Transformation budgets and resources efficiently to maximize ROI. -Plan and collaborate with HR on talent acquisition and development for the team.
6.Other related duties as assigned
-Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering/Science, IT, MIS, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, AI, or related. Master's/MBA preferred.
-Preferred age range: 40–50 years old
-12-15+ years in IT, Digital Project Management, Digital Transformation, or Data Science/Advanced Analytics.
-7-10+ years in a managerial role, leading complex, large-scale Digital Transformation or Data Science projects with significant organizational impact.
-Proven experience in IT Infrastructure planning, design, implementation, and operations management (Server, Storage, Network, Cloud - AWS, Azure, GCP) including Data Center Operations.
-Hands-on experience with AI/ML, Data Analytics, Big Data, and Data Science technologies and their business applications, including leading Data Scientists/Analysts and translating technical outcomes into business value.
-Experience managing large project budgets, diverse resources, and vendor relationships. -Proven ability to develop and articulate a clear IT strategy aligned with business objectives, encompassing technology roadmaps, investment prioritization, and risk management.
-Experience in establishing IT governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure compliance, security, and operational excellence.
-Strong understanding of IT financial management, including budgeting, cost optimization, and TCO/ROI analysis for technology investments.
-IT Infrastructure & Cloud: In-depth knowledge of modern IT infrastructure (on-premise, hybrid, multi-cloud), cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS on AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), software-defined networking (SDN), and infrastructure automation.
-Enterprise & Solution Architecture: Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise-wide architectures; proficiency in microservices, API-led integration, and event-driven architectures.
-Data Management & Architecture: Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data modeling, data warehousing, data lakes, data integration (ETL/ELT), master data management (MDM), and data quality management. -Cybersecurity: Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscape, security architectures (e.g., Zero Trust), data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, PDPA), and risk mitigation strategies.
-AI & Data Science: Deep understanding of ML algorithms, statistical modeling, data mining, predictive/prescriptive analytics; proficiency in Python/R/SQL, AI/ML platforms (TensorFlow, PyTorch); expertise in MLOps, Big Data Management, Data Engineering, Data Governance, and advanced Data Storytelling & Visualization (Tableau, Power BI).
-Broad knowledge of modern digital technologies (IoT, RPA, Blockchain, Low-code/No-code platforms) and their strategic application in various business contexts. -Understanding of digital product management, agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
-Advanced Project/Program Management (PMP/PgMP/Agile certifications highly desirable); exceptional ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams. -Strong Leadership capabilities, with a proven track record of building and developing high-performing technical and strategic teams.
-Strategic Thinking & Planning: Ability to translate business vision into actionable technology strategies and operational plans.
