Senior Estimate Engineer

Prepare cost estimates for project bidding to ensure accurate, complete, and reasonable pricing based on the tender documents provided. Coordinate with the project owner and relevant internal departments within the company as assigned, ensuring all tasks are completed within the specified timeframe for submission to the management team for bid price consideration.
- Carefully study drawings, specifications, and contract conditions related to pricing.
- Clarify any ambiguities or uncertainties regarding all related matters with the client or relevant external parties.
- Coordinate and assign tasks within the department to ensure all bidding documents are fully prepared.
- Supervise and control quantity take-offs to ensure completeness and accuracy according to the bidding documents.
- Oversee and coordinate the collection of material prices to ensure full coverage in accordance with the tender requirements.
- Coordinate with other departments within the company that are involved in the bidding process.
- Visit the construction site prior to bidding to determine appropriate and realistic cost estimates.
- Visit sites of awarded and ongoing projects to gather information beneficial for future bids.
- Determine suitable construction methods to achieve competitive cost efficiency.
- Attend meetings with the project owner during the bidding phase to discuss the scope of work and establish a preliminary construction schedule.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Over 10 years of fieldwork experience.
- Interested and committed to working in construction project bidding.
- Experience in cost estimation (will be given special consideration if available).
- Experience as a Site Engineer overseeing at least 2 projects.
- Experience as a Project Engineer or Office Engineer on at least 1 project.
- Understanding of construction contracts and standard FIDIC contracts (will be given special consideration).
