Job Responsibilities
1. Conduct time and motion studies to analyze work methods and establish standard times for manufacturing processes.
2. Identify opportunities for time and cost savings through process improvements.
3. Design and optimize the layout of production facilities to ensure smooth material flow and efficient use of space.
4. Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline production workflows.
5. Work closely with other departments such as design, procurement, and sales to ensure alignment in manufacturing processes with product design and customer requirements.
6. Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability.
Job Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. Have experience in Production Engineer, Production Planning Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or related fields at least 2 years.
3. Have experience in Manufacturing or Furniture business will be an advantage.
4. Proficiency in using industrial engineering tools and software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or simulation software.
5. Strong data analysis skills using tools like Excel, statistical software, or other relevant applications.
6. Good relationship, problem-solving skills, self-initiate, leadership and high responsibility.
7. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills for process improvement.

Modernform started manufacturing and marketing of office furniture in 1980, and subsequently expanded its business scope to cover residential furniture and kitchen units.By 1990 Modernform Group consisted of altogether 9 business units, of which 5 were marketing units and 4 were manufacturing operations.
