Position Objective:
The Project Manager oversees the planning, executing, and controlling projects (Solar and Transmission) where maintaining high level of on time delivery, high quality, cost control and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibility Areas:
Planning the project
- Fully understand on scope of the project in collaboration with contract, proposal.
- Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
- Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project
- Develop a schedule plan and contingency plan until project completion
- Ensure that all stakeholders (Customer, internal project/production team, and subcontractor) receive an appropriate direction/information.
- Technical support to sales team.
Executing the project
- Execute the project according to the project plan including site work.
- Develop forms and records to document project/site activities
- Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
- Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
- Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project
- Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
Control the project
- Prepare progress/handover reports to customer
- Monitor and approve all budgeted project/Site expenditures
- Ensure that deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
- Implement change/claim if there is variance from scope of supply.
- Leading kick off meeting and weekly progress meeting.
- Project controlling in all aspects cost, delivery, quality and customer satisfaction.
- Weekly submitted daily progress report.
