• Conduct market analysis and research, specifically focused on the logistics routing movement and container terminal business, to identify logistics trends, cost effectiveness, and business opportunities for strategic planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and consultants to align container terminal and logistics business objectives with market opportunities and develop growth strategies.
• Gather market intelligence and competitive insights to identify potential market segments and optimize product/service positioning.
• Evaluate pricing models and conduct pricing experiments to optimize revenue generation and profitability.
• Support the identification and evaluation of potential business partnerships, collaborations, and expansion opportunities.
• Conduct due diligence and assist in negotiating agreements for container terminal or related logistics business development efforts.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) in the container terminal business and related commercial and marketing KPIs in PPP contract to measure the effectiveness of commercial strategies and to align with the condition in the contract with the government.
• Provide regular performance reviews and make data-driven recommendations for strategy adjustments.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration within organization’s departments including operations, logistics, and finance to ensure alignment of business and commercial strategies.
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders including shipping lines, port authorities, and industry influencers, to effectively communicate and gain buy-in for commercial strategies.
• Assist in the development of action plans for implementing strategic initiatives.
• Support the overall competitiveness of the organization's terminal operations by enhancing and developing container operationalization process through effective commercial strategy implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 6 - 8 years of experience in strategic planning, market analysis, business development, or a related role within the container port and terminal, logistics industry
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in the container port and terminal, logistics industry.
- Proficient in market research, data analysis, and interpreting key performance indicators (KPIs) to make informed strategic recommendations
- Experience in pricing strategies specific to container port and terminal, logistics business, conducting pricing experiments, and optimizing revenue generation.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score)
- Ability to travel/ work upcountry and abroad
