Principal Accountabilities:
• To achieve sales budget and acceptable gross profit and sales in areas not necessarily budgeted for, obtain and penetrate customer product list for opportunities and new markets.
• Initiate, monitor and manage market intelligence – competitors pricing and activities, market trends and demands.
• Seek out and participate in major customer tenders and determine which products constitute highest usage.
• Attend and exhibit trades shows and provide site reports.
• Negotiate Key Customers and Agent Trading Terms and Rebates.
• Resolve escalated customer conflicts & issues that arise across any and all department to ensure customer has a positive experience & has 1 point of call who can co-ordinate a response to their question that may involve multiple lumen departments.
• Supply information on new technologies with regular customer visits and introduce new products in line with R&D projects and to support internal feasibility meetings.
• Maintain strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills both internally and externally.
• Maintain open lines of communication while working effectively in a team environment.
• Maintain positive customer relationships through professional presentation and attitude.
• Complete Start Up, Product Data and Customer Meeting Notes.
• Review and action monthly reports –GP, Nil and Keep stock, End of Life and Partial Part Set Up, Age debtors or other reports when required.
• Stock management: ICS forecasting and reports, Customer forecasting, stock optimisation & reduction activities, stocking policies.
• Continually look for ways to reduce waste, maintain 5S policy & support continuous improvement.
• Target sales within the following market segments: Aftermarket, Genuine Accessory & first Tier suppliers of Genuine accessories,
• Target sales mainly within Thailand domestic market, but also within greater ASEAN market.
• Establish sound communication channels and working relationships with customers.
• Generate new business as well as maintain existing client accounts.
• Acquire brief from customers outlining requirements.
• Identify solutions in line with customers’ requests and specifications.
• Assist to co-ordinate/project management customer opportunities to ensure we deliver inline with customer expectations.
• Produce customer quotations ensuring products meet the company’s financial targets and KPI’s.
• Creates new product presentations to support product/company promotion.
• Make high level presentations to customers on products and capabilities.
• Formulate pricing options based on target price and estimated market value.
• Assist in the design and development of products that meet customer requirements.
• Establish and ensure all engineering standards and quality control methods are applied.
• Assist with all internal and external customer enquiries.
• General administration duties as deemed by Management.
