Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain material requirements plans based on production schedules and forecasts.
2. Monitor inventory levels and place purchase orders to ensure material availability.
3. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
4. Work closely with production planners to align materials with production needs.
5. Manage and adjust safety stock levels based on lead times, consumption rates, and forecast accuracy.
6. Review and analyze MRP outputs and adjust orders accordingly.
7. Resolve material shortages, delivery delays, and inventory discrepancies.
8. Participate in new product launches and phase-outs by ensuring timely material readiness.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, warehouse, quality, and logistics.
10. Generate reports on inventory status, slow-moving/obsolete stock, and material usage trends.
11. Drive continuous improvement in material planning processes and systems.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, Math, statistics or relate filed
2. Proven experience as production planner material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position.
3. Good command in English / Chinese
4. Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
5. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
6. Good at math and statistics
7. Good interpersonal
8. Excellent communication abilities
9. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and material management systems.
