Control and Ensure Construction Quality- Verify that all construction work complies with drawings, specifications, and contract standards.
- Conduct pre-inspections before submission to the consultant to minimize rejections.
Prepare and Review QA/QC Documentation
- Manage and prepare Inspection Requests (IR), Material Approval Requests (MAR), and Method Statements / Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
- Oversee Quality Checklists, Test Reports, Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and Corrective Action Reports.
Coordinate with Consultant
- Arrange inspection schedules and ensure timely submissions.
- Address and respond to consultant inquiries regarding construction methods, materials, and quality issues.
- Clarify and negotiate in cases of disapproved inspections, providing technical evidence such as test results or drawings.
Supervise and Advise Site Team
- Guide foremen and subcontractors to adhere to project quality standards.
- Conduct internal inspections prior to the consultant's official inspection.
Monitor and Report on Quality Performance
- Summarize inspection results, detailing approved and rejected works.
- Analyze quality issues and propose corrective or preventive actions.
Attend Coordination and QA/QC Meetings
- Present updates on inspection progress, quality issues, and corrective actions.
- Provide professional technical explanations when opinions differ from the consultant.
Verify Materials and Test Certificates
- Review manufacturers' quality certificates and test results.
- Monitor sampling and laboratory testing processes to ensure compliance.
