Trading Engineer

Responsible for maintaining and developing infrastructure for clients’ trading order execution to achieve maximum speed, stability, and security. The role emphasizes managing data connectivity systems and price processing systems to operate seamlessly.

System Stability & Maintenance:

• Maintain the stability and optimal performance of core trading systems and all related infrastructure, including the Trading Platform, Market Data System, Pricing Engine, Core Trading System, Backend Trading Services, and Bridge Connectivity.
• Monitor system stability diligently during trading hours.

Troubleshooting & Resolution (Low-Latency):

• Troubleshoot technical issues immediately upon occurrence, such as downtime, delayed order matching, system errors, or issues related to order execution and system connectivity, to prevent potential financial losses.
• Analyze complex system problems, including latency, outdated price data, or abnormal order execution.
• Monitor and analyze logs effectively for Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Development & Optimization:

• Inspect and optimize the network and code to reduce data transmission latency.
• Develop new trading features to support market trends and customer needs, including system testing and upgrading based on market demands.
• Develop or improve internal tools for monitoring, alerts, or process automation.

• Nationality: Thai nationality, age 21–30 years old
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics / Statistics, or related Engineering fields. Other fields may be considered if the candidate has direct experience with trading systems or IT infrastructure.
• Experience (1–3 years in one of the following): Trading systems, FinTech, Financial market systems, Banking, or Financial systems.
• Industry Experience (Advantage): Experience in a Software House, Securities Firm, or FinTech company.

• Knowledge and understanding of MetaTrader.
• Basic programming knowledge of Visual Studio, Python, and C++.
• Knowledge of server management, system connectivity, and system security.
• Understanding of financial market systems, including Order Types, Execution Flow, Pricing Feed, and Market Data.
• Understanding of core trading concepts like Matching Engine, Order Book, and price structure.

• Relocation: Be able to relocate to Khon Kaen.
• Pressure Management: Ability to work effectively under pressure (due to real-time financial transaction systems).
• Communication: Able to communicate technical concepts clearly in English (for documentation and international technical support).
• Availability: Able to work shifts or be on standby for system issues outside office hours (with compensation).
