The Role
The Operations Manager at Napha is responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations across multiple restaurant outlets, the central kitchen, and catering & events.
This role covers:
● Napha – Emsphere
● Napha – Central Park
● Central Kitchen
● Upcoming 3rd outlet (2026/2027)
● Catering & Events operations
This is a hands-on leadership role, focused on execution, coordination, and operational discipline. It is not an office-only position.
The Operations Manager works closely with the Executive Chef, Restaurant Managers, Head Chefs, Marketing Team, and Ownership to ensure smooth daily operations, controlled costs, consistent quality, and well-planned growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Multi-Outlet Operations Management
● Oversee daily operations across all Napha outlets and the central kitchen
● Ensure SOPs, workflows, and service standards are consistently followed
● Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and operational alignment between outlets
● Support operational setup and readiness for new outlets
2. Central Kitchen Oversight
● Manage daily production planning, prep schedules, and outlet distribution
● Ensure food quality, consistency, hygiene, and yield control
● Work closely with the Executive Chef on standard recipes and portioning
● Monitor inventory flow, storage, and wastage
3. Cost Control & Operational Efficiency
● Work directly with the Executive Chef and Restaurant Managers to:
○ Control food costs
○ Monitor recipe costing and portion accuracy
○ Reduce waste and operational inefficiencies
● Review food cost reports and operational variances
● Identify practical cost-saving improvements without compromising quality
Cost control is a shared responsibility, not a single-person burden.
4. Catering & Events Operations
● Oversee operational planning and execution for catering and events
● Coordinate kitchen, service, staffing, and logistics
● Ensure events are properly planned, staffed, and costed
● Support on-site execution and post-event operational reviews
5. Cross-Team Coordination & Quarterly Planning
● Work with the marketing team to plan operational support for campaigns and events on a quarterly basis
● Ensure promotions and events are operationally feasible, properly staffed, and cost-controlled
● Coordinate kitchen and service requirements for upcoming campaigns
● Flag operational risks or constraints early
6. Team Coordination & Daily Problem Solving
● Support Restaurant Managers and Chefs in daily operations
● Help resolve operational issues calmly and fairly
● Ensure teams understand procedures and responsibilities
● Escalate HR or disciplinary matters through proper channels
7. Quality, Hygiene & Compliance
● Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and internal standards
● Conduct regular operational checks across outlets
● Identify risks early and take corrective action
8. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
● Provide clear operational updates to management
● Track operational issues, costs, and improvement actions
● Recommend system and process improvements as the business grows
