Pastry Chef

- Develop new pastry and cake recipes tailored to customer specifications and market demands
- Create prototype products and conduct quality testing to ensure consistency and excellence
- Collaborate with the R&D team to scale recipes for commercial production
- Conduct on-site training sessions for customers on product usage, baking techniques, and best practices
- Provide technical guidance to customers on product applications and troubleshooting
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product specifications and customization options
- Ensure all developed products meet company standards for taste, texture, appearance, and shelf life
- Document recipes and production procedures for consistency and reproducibility
- Conduct sensory evaluations and make recommendations for product improvements
- Monitor industry trends in frozen dough, ready-to-bake, and bakery innovation
- Attend industry events and trade shows to stay informed of market developments
- Communicate findings to the team and propose new product opportunities
- Work closely with production teams to ensure recipes are production-ready
- Maintain detailed records of all recipe development and testing
- Support sales and marketing teams with product samples and demonstrations
- Diploma or certification in Pastry/Baking Arts or equivalent culinary training
- Food Safety & Hygiene certification
- Minimum 5 years of professional pastry/baking experience in a commercial kitchen or bakery setting
- Proven experience in recipe development and product innovation
- Experience working with frozen dough or ready-to-bake products is preferred
- Background in B2B or food service industry is advantageous
- Advanced knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and pastry production
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Problem-solving ability and willingness to innovate
- Fluent in Thai and English (or Chinese)
- Valid work permit/visa eligibility
- Ability to travel on-site to customer locations for training
- Willingness to work flexible hours when needed for product development or customer support
