Responsibilities
We are seeking a proactive and community-focused Community Relations Officer to build and maintain strong relationships between our organization and local communities, stakeholders, and relevant authorities. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering positive engagement, managing community concerns, and supporting corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local authorities, and stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for community inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement community engagement programs and CSR activities.
- Organize meetings, public consultations, and community events.
- Monitor and report on community issues that may affect company operations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address community-related matters.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation on community engagement activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant local regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Social Sciences, Political Science, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in community relations, public affairs, CSR, or stakeholder engagement.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Willingness to work in the field and travel when required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report writing.
Fluency in English (additional local language skills are an advantage).
