Set up and operate metal stamping presses, ensuring proper die installation according to production requirements.
Install and adjust dies accurately before production starts.
Inspect die conditions and product quality, analyze die-related issues on the production floor, and make initial decisions for corrective actions.
Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on dies when problems occur during operations.
Adjust metal dies to ensure compatibility and optimal performance with the press machines.
Adjust, maintain, and service jigs and fixtures used in the production line.
Understand the operating systems of various types of dies, such as Progressive Dies, Single Dies, and Compound Dies.
Clean, maintain, and repair metal dies (Preventive & Corrective Maintenance).
Control product quality produced from the dies and inspect the condition of dies before releasing them to production.
Coordinate with the Production and Quality Control departments to resolve die-related issues and improve production efficiency.
Record maintenance activities, part replacements, and summarize reports of die-related problems.
Support other production tasks as assigned.
