• Implement and execute HR programs, processes and initiatives such as; performance management, compensation planning, employee development, employee engagement, succession planning and recruitment support in order to align with business strategy both from local and global perspectives through the whole employee life cycle.
• Build strategic partnerships with senior management team and extended leadership team to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity.
• Lead site-wide activities to maintain a healthy and productive work environment, such as; coaching and development planning, employee engagement, investigating and resolving employee relations issues, hiring and retention of talented employees, and encouraging open, productive dialogue between managers, supervisors, employees and other partners.
• Assist senior management in the development of solutions through organizational development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives. Use creative problem-solving skills to address business needs that are often time sensitive.
• Champion a culture of inclusivity and equity through DIB (Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging) initiatives, company policies and programs.
• Capable of adapting communication strategy to enable people to perform at their best or in the company’s best interest, for example: constructively challenging ideas and thought processes, encouraging people to consider different points of view, discussing pro’s and con’s, etc.
• Contribute to the continued improvement and development of HR programs, processes and planning within the company.
• Possess knowledge and ability to ensure all actions are in compliance with appropriate employment laws, company policies and sound business practice.
