Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate new business, investment, market expansion, and strategic partnership opportunities.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to support management decisions.
- Develop business cases, financial models, investment proposals, and executive presentations.
- Analyse the commercial and financial viability of potential projects, including ROI, payback period, NPV, and IRR.
- Support the Managing Director in developing and implementing corporate strategies and key business initiatives.
- Lead and coordinate strategic projects from planning through implementation, ensuring timely delivery within the approved budget.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Operations, and other relevant departments to drive project success.
- Identify and engage potential business partners, investors, suppliers, and other external stakeholders.
- Support business negotiations, partnership agreements, joint ventures, and other investment-related transactions.
- Monitor project performance, investment returns, budgets, risks, and key milestones, and provide regular progress reports to management.
- Prepare information for executive meetings and follow up on key decisions and action items.
- Perform other strategic assignments and special projects as assigned by the Managing Director.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Business Development, Investment, Corporate Strategy, Financial Analysis, Consulting, or Project Management.
- Strong business acumen with proven analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in preparing feasibility studies, business plans, financial models, and investment proposals.
- Good understanding of financial statements and investment evaluation methods.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work across functions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
