JOB SUMMARY:


• The Engineer/Senior Sourcing Engineer ensures timely sourcing and qualification of equipment and components by coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional teams, managing lead times and buy-offs, and supporting smooth machine readiness and procurement execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan long-lead component and equipment orders based on IE forecasts to meet production timelines.
• Coordinate with PD on obsolete components and ensure smooth transition to approved alternatives.
• Maintain up-to-date supplier quotations and lead-time information.
• Manage equipment order schedules and align supplier deliveries with IE production plans.
• Coordinate onsite buy-offs with suppliers and IE to confirm machine readiness and compliance.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure delivery, quality, and schedule commitments.
• Work with IE and Facility teams on machine receiving, installation, and setup.
• Support final buy-off and reliability testing to ensure full equipment qualification.
• Collaborate with Equipment SQE to resolve equipment qualification or quality issues.
• Coordinate payment with IE, including machines without final buy-off and reliability.


• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics\Electronics engineering.

• Knowledge of Excel and Power point presentations.
• Ability to work cross functionally in a dynamic environment.
• Good communication skills, including writing, speaking, facilitation, and presentation.

• 8-12 years, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Procurement dealing with Automation Sourcing.
