Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor on-site electrical construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, designers, and other disciplines to resolve technical and site-specific issues.
- Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, material submissions, and all relevant technical documents.
- Monitor electrical installation quality, conduct inspections, oversee testing, facilitate commissioning, and manage punch-list closure.
- Track electrical work progress against the project schedule, identifying potential delays and proposing recovery actions.
- Coordinate electrical works within villa and hospitality projects, including shutdowns, tie-ins, access, and work schedules.
- Support the Construction Manager in reviewing electrical variations, contractor claims, progress reports, and site quantities.
- Monitor and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including inspection records, NCRs, testing reports, as-built drawings, and handover documents.
- Provide daily and weekly updates on electrical progress, technical issues, quality, and schedule to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in electrical construction and site supervision.
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical construction principles, drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, inspection, testing, and commissioning.
- Proven experience coordinating multiple contractors and interfacing with M&E, civil, structural, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other disciplines.
- Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and site management skills.
- Experience in Real Estate, Hospitality, Commercial, or renovation projects is highly preferred.
- Experience working in an operating manufacturing facility is an advantage.
