Molding Engineer - บริษัท ฟูจิคูระ คอนเนค (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด

1. Develop and validate plastic injection molding processes for new products, including mold trials, process qualification, and mass production readiness.

2. Define and execute testing plans for new models, analyze trial results, and approve process conditions for production.

3. Optimize injection molding parameters (Injection Speed, Holding Pressure, Cooling Time, Mold Temperature, Barrel Temperature, etc.) to improve productivity and product quality.

4. Analyze molding defects (Flash, Short Shot, Sink Mark, Burn Mark, Warpage, Weld Line, Silver Streak, etc.) and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

5. Improve production efficiency through Cycle Time Reduction, Yield Improvement, OEE Improvement, Scrap Reduction, and Cost Reduction initiatives.

6. Plan and coordinate mold maintenance, preventive maintenance (PM), mold repair, and mold modifications to ensure stable production.

7. Work closely with Tooling, Maintenance, QA, Production, and Engineering teams to resolve molding and process-related issues.

8. Develop and maintain Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Process Standards, and Process Parameters.

9. Evaluate and introduce new molding technologies, engineering materials, and automation solutions to improve manufacturing performance.

10. Support Engineering Change (ECN/ECR), new product introduction (NPI), and continuous improvement activities.

11. Apply Root Cause Analysis methodologies (5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, 8D, FMEA) to solve production and quality issues.

• Bachelor's Degree in Plastic Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, or related Engineering fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Plastic Injection Molding within the automotive, electronics, connector, medical device, or precision plastic manufacturing industries.
• Strong knowledge of: Plastic Injection Molding Process,  Mold Trial & Process Validation, Scientific Molding,  Mold Setup & Process Optimization, Plastic Resin Properties (Engineering Plastics), Mold Maintenance, Hot Runner / Cold Runner Systems

• Injection Molding Machines (Fanuc, Sumitomo, Nissei, Arburg, Haitian, Toshiba, JSW, Engel, etc.)
• Experience with DOE (Design of Experiments), SPC, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, 8D, MSA, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement is highly preferred.
• Experience using Moldflow Simulation or equivalent CAE software is an advantage.
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English.
• Able to work under pressure with a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
