As a Customs Specialist (Chinese Speaking), you will play a crucial role in managing smooth import operations. You will be responsible for preparing all import customs clearance documents according to the monthly plan, collaborating closely with the China Customs team and freight forwarders to ensure essential documents, such as Certificates of Origin, are accurately prepared and submitted on time to optimize import duty costs. You will track shipment schedules from vessel departure through to delivery and oversee customs expense reporting. A key part of your role will involve classifying customs tariff codes (HS Codes) for various products, establishing and maintaining the Thailand import HS Code database, and continuously optimizing classifications to reduce import duties. Additionally, you will monitor ocean freight market trends to control transportation costs and maintain monthly import and export data records.
