Responsibilities
- Execute and manage all international trade transactions, including opening/amending Letters of Credit (L/C), processing Telegraphic Transfers (T/T), and utilizing Trust Receipts (T/R) for import financing.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for local and international banks. Negotiate credit facilities, interest rates, and bank charges to minimize the company’s overall Cost of Capital.
- Monitor foreign exchange (FX) exposure and implement hedging strategies (e.g., Forward Contracts) to protect the company from currency volatility.
- Develop and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity for global operations and investment opportunities.
- Oversee the AP and AR functions to ensure timely payments and collections. Analyze Aging Reports to identify risks and improve collection efficiency.
- Review and streamline financial operation workflows to enhance accuracy and reduce manual errors in document processing.
- Ensure all trade and financial documents comply with international banking standards and internal corporate policies.
- Identify opportunities to reduce financial expenses through better cash management or restructuring of existing debt/credit lines.
- Provide the executive team with insightful reports on treasury performance, FX gains/losses, and working capital metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, or Trade Finance.
- Deep understanding of Trade Finance instruments (L/C, T/R, T/T) and international banking operations. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) are mandatory for negotiating with international banking partners and stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation, analytical thinking, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
