• Source new ingredients and manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, ingredients, packaging, machinery, and accessories from Thailand and overseas suppliers for operations in Thailand.
• Manage import operations with hands-on experience in FDA requirements, customs clearance, shipping agents, and international logistics.
• Coordinate closely with the Supply Chain team to anticipate future requirements based on volume forecasts, monitor purchase orders, and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Accounting, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams; act as the key point of contact with suppliers, customs agents, and freight forwarders.
• Coordinate international shipments via air, sea, and road freight, ensuring smooth and compliant delivery processes.
• Ensure full compliance with BRC, food safety, organic standards, and other regulatory requirements; oversee all import and customs documentation.
• Lead supplier negotiations to achieve optimal quality, cost, payment terms, and delivery performance, including driving cost-reduction initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and overseas suppliers to expand and strengthen the approved supplier base.
• Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and pricing movements to support informed procurement decisions.
• Prepare procurement and supply performance reports for management review.
• Bachelor’s degree in food science, Materials Management, International Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience with solid knowledge of local and international purchasing processes.
• Knowledge of organic standards and import documentation/processes (preferred and will be given special consideration).
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
• Excellent command of written and spoken Thai and English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with high self-initiative.
• Demonstrates active learning, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
• Able to work effectively under time pressure with strong timeliness and decisiveness.
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
