• Sourcing, procurement and supply management on raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, machines and accessories supporting company's business in Thailand and overseas.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and anticipate future requirements based on volume forecasts provided by the Supply Chain team. Including purchase orders monitoring shipment status to ensure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with other departments e.g. R&D, accounting, manufacturing, warehouse, supply chain and logistics team including coordinate international shipping air, sea, or road freight. Also liaise with stakeholders: Act as a key point of contact between various parties, including suppliers, customs agents, freight forwarders, and internal departments.
• Ensure all documents comply with relevant regulations and organic standards. And manage import documentation: Oversee all necessary paperwork, such as customs declarations, for international shipments.
• Manage purchasing activities and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal terms for quality, cost, payment conditions, and delivery performance, including cost reduction projects.
• Create and maintain strong working relationships with overseas and local suppliers as well as parties concerned to keep and extend list of supply sources.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, market analysis on supply and price trend.
• Prepare procurement reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in food science, International Business Administration, Management, or related field.
• At least 1-3 years’ experience with solid knowledge and understanding on purchasing process.
• Knowledge of organic standard and import documents and processes (If have will be given special consideration).
• Analytical and strategic thinking with effective leadership.
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Proficiency in MS. Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with self-initiative.
• Active learning.
• Timeliness and decisiveness in action and being able to work under time pressure.
• Interpersonal and negotiation skills with teamwork oriented.
