Responsibilities

  • Assess new, renewal and enhancement credit proposals through financial, business and risk analysis.

  • Evaluate cash flows, repayment capacity, leverage, liquidity, working capital requirements and debt servicing ability.

  • Review industry outlook, borrower conduct, management quality, security coverage and key credit risks.

  • Structure suitable credit limits, pricing, security and covenants in line with Bank policy and risk appetite.

  • Prepare clear and timely credit appraisal notes and recommendations for sanctioning authorities.

  • Identify early warning signals, deviations and weaknesses and recommend appropriate risk mitigants.

  • Ensure compliance with credit policy, regulatory requirements and sanction conditions.

  • Monitor post-sanction performance and portfolio quality through periodic review of financials, utilization and account conduct.


    • Qualifications

    Age preferably 21-38 years Bachelor’s degree in finance, Banking, Accounting or another relevant field
    At least 2 years of experience in Credit loan appraisal in Banks and Financial Institutions.
    Is creative with a good personality, perseverance and the ability to think in their feet.
    Communicates well in English (Write, Speak, Read)
    Has computer skills, including MS Excel & Word

    Job Summary

    Responsible for credit appraisal, financial analysis and monitoring of corporate/commercial borrowers.
