Responsibilities
Job Purpose :
Responsible for managing overseas shipment processes, import-export documentation, and logistics coordination to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods. The role focuses on shipping operations, customs clearance support, and coordination with suppliers and freight forwarders to maintain efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Shipping Operation Management
- Coordinate and manage overseas shipment arrangements (Sea / Air / Land)
- Prepare and review shipping documents (BL, AWB, Invoice, Packing List, etc.)
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all shipping documentation
- Monitor shipment schedule to ensure on-time delivery
2. Import & Export Documentation
- Handle import/export documentation in compliance with customs regulations
- Coordinate with customs brokers for smooth clearance process
- Verify HS Code, product details, and related import requirements
- Support tax and duty calculation process
3. Freight & Forwarder Coordination
- Coordinate with freight forwarders regarding booking, shipment schedule, ETD / ETA
- Track shipment status and proactively update internal stakeholders
- Follow up on shipping delays and resolve logistics-related issues
- Support negotiation on freight cost and shipment terms
4. Supplier & Internal Coordination
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers regarding shipment readiness and loading schedule
- Follow up Purchase Orders (PO) to ensure shipment is arranged as planned
- Work closely with warehouse and logistics team for receiving plan
- Support Sales and Planning teams with shipment timeline updates
5. Reporting & Cost Control
- Prepare shipping status reports and inbound shipment summary
- Monitor freight cost and logistics expenses
- Maintain shipping records and document filing system
- Provide logistics data to support management decision
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related fields
- 1–3 years experience in Supply Chain, Import, Planning or Trading business (Automotive business is a plus)
- Experience in Shipping overseas suppliers and import process
- Good analytical skill and understanding of inventory management
- Able to work with large number of SKUs
- Can communicate in English very well
